Over a hundred people have been killed in central Nigeria in a series of attacks on villages, amid religious and ethnic tensions. The attacks were carried out by well-coordinated military gangs, locally known as bandits, who targeted over 20 different communities. The violence spread from the Bokkos area to Barkin Ladi, resulting in 30 additional deaths.
